Assalamu’alaikum and Greetings to all. Alhamdulillah ya Allah for blessing us with health and sustenance for us and our family. 

Apologies for the long delay for August’s AqiqahSG Romper Challenge Winner. It has been a challenging couple of months with the increasing number of cases. As Singapore is shifting from COVID-Zero to living with COVID, we are continuously adapting to the changes. It has been a rollercoaster ride for all of us; some are affected financially, some has lost their loved ones to the virus.

Not only have there been increasing number of cases due to the pandemic, there are increasing number of cases due to anxiety, depression.  May Allah protect us and our loved once from illness. Our religion teaches us sabr, redho and tawakkal. It is easier said than done, but we have to believe in Allah’s plan for He is the Best of Planners.

 In the Al-Quran Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:28, Allah SWT reminds us:

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort.

Allah will never give us challenges that are beyond our capabilities. He has given us the opportunity to better ourselves.
