Alhamdulillah. All thanks to Allah for the blessings that He has bestowed on all of us. Welcome back for another episode of our monthly Romper Challenge!

Here is a fun thought for all of us to ponder on: Will we ever be prepared to enter parenthood?

Remember the days before getting married? Wedding preparations got us so occupied; Deco, Catering, Bridal, etcetera .. Who can safely say that they have discussed on every aspect on what is to come? A percentage of us may have discussed on starting a family almost immediately after getting married, and there is a percentage who would like to take things slow and understand their partner a little more before.

Time flew by in a blink of an eye, and with His permission, you are gifted with a child. A whole new episode of your life starts. Not a single marriage or parenting course will prepare us for what is to come; diaper changing, sleepless nights, endless worry. Despite it all, we put our entire faith in Allah, put our foot forward and brave on.

There will be times when you doubt yourself and your head will be clouded with negativity. The tiredness, the overwhelming surge of emotions; work, household, childcare. You feel like you’re going to explode! The moment you look at your child, it all goes away .. instantly vanishes. All the tiredness, worth it. All the negativity, gone. Embrace the greatest gift that not everyone get to have. Parenthood is scary. In fact, all that is new to us will seem scary.

Was it scary? Have faith, have trust, and most of all, have fun.
